2 Samuel 24:7-9

⁷ then they came to the ^(A)fortress of Tyre and to all the cities of the ^(B)Hivites and of the Canaanites, and they went out to the south of Judah, to ^(C)Beersheba. ⁸ So when they had roamed about through the whole land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days. ⁹ And Joab gave ^(D)the number of the census of the people to the king: in Israel there were ^(E)eight hundred thousand valiant men who drew the sword, and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.
